TERRE HAUTE —
Lawrence Wayne Brown, 50, of Terre Haute, passed away at 2:32 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, in Union Hospital. He was born Aug. 19, 1962, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Franklin Brown and Leilani Maupin.
He worked formerly as a cable installer. He liked to barbecue on the grill, cook, play video games and spend time on the computer. He also enjoyed being with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Paul Brown; and granddaughter, Miranda Brown. He is survived by his wife, Laurie Brown; two sons, Lawrence Brown and Christopher Brown; two daughters, Patricia Brown and LeeAnn Brown; two sister, Christine Brown Grose and Debbora Brown Calberon; three brothers, Franklin Brown Jr., Michael Brown, and Thomas Brown; and half brother, Sean Kord. He also is survived by three grandchildren, Tyler Brown, Alexis Brown and Devon Brown.
