TERRE HAUTE —
Audie Lee Hittle, age 34, went to be with his Lord and Savior from Southwood Nursing and Rehab Facility on Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at 12:15 a.m. with family and friends at his side. Audie was born Nov. 6, 1977, to Randy and Kenna (Norris) Hittle. He was united in marriage to Jennifer Stevenson Hittle on July 14, 2007.

He was a 1996 graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School, attended Indiana State University, was active in Child Evangelism Ministries as a teenager, and was a member, deacon, and served on the executive board of the Terre Haute Bible Center.
Audie’s survivors, along with his wife and parents, include his brother, Joshua Hittle of Muncie, Ind.; mother-in-law, Sharon Stevenson of Sullivan, Ind.; father-in-law and his wife, David and Kim Stevenson of Terre Haute; sister/brother-in-law, Jamie and Brent Fletcher of Lafayette, Ind.; a nephew, Carson Fletcher, of Lafayette, Ind.; an aunt, Darlene Norris Edington of Clinton, Ind.; an uncle, Orval Norris Jr. of Brazil, Ind.; his “heart” aunt and uncle, Penny and Dan Jackson of Terre Haute; three cousins, a host of extended family and friends, and last but not least, his faithful canine companion, Buddy.

The family extends its thanks to the doctors and staff of Hux Cancer Center, the caring staff of Southwood Health/Rehab facility, Terre Haute Bible Center, Trinity Lutheran Church, the First Christian Church of Sullivan Indiana, Sugar Grove Free Methodist Church, and family and friends for your prayers, encouragement, and support during Audie’s journey from this life to his heavenly one. As Audie proclaimed from the beginning of his journey, God is good -- and now Audie sees Him face to face.
Visitation for Audie will be Friday July 6, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Terre Haute Bible Center, 3219 E. Evans Ave. Terre Haute, where Clinton Road and U.S. 41 meet. A celebration of life service will be on Saturday July 7, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the church with Pastor Jerry Nash and Pastor Dana Newhouse officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
