Lynsi J. Dundas

Paris, Ill. — June 20, 1985 - July 2, 2012

Lynsi Joyce Roberts Dundas, 27, of Paris, passed away at 1:40 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2012, in Champaign, Ill., as a result of an automobile accident. She was the manager at The Cellular Connection of Paris. She was born June 20, 1985, in Paris, the daughter of Samuel A. Roberts and Kimela Winningham. She married Daniel L. Dundas on March 26, 2011, at the Presbyterian Church in Paris, and he survives.

Other survivors include her father and stepmother, Samuel and Regina Roberts of Paris; her mother, Kimela of Shelburn, Ind.; a son, Noah Dundas at home; her paternal grandmother, Anne Roberts of Paris; a brother, Andrew Roberts of Mattoon, Ill.; aunts and uncles, Nancy Zeman of Savannah, Ga., Cheryl (Dale) Curl and Mick Roberts of Paris, Britt Winningham of Marshall, Ill., and Kristie Brown of Livingston, Tenn.; several cousins including Mike (Kim) Curl of Pesota, Iowa, Kelly (Josh) Cusick of Paris, Tim (Abby) Curl of Lafayette, Ind., and Mackenzie Roberts of Collinsville, Ill.; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary and Gerard Nerburn of Chicago. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Jack Roberts; and her maternal grandparents, Richard Winningham and Joyce Winningham.

Lynsi was a 2003 graduate of Paris High School, where she was a cheerleader. She attended Eastern Illinois University, where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Paris.

Lynsi was a hard worker who loved spending time with her family and friends, and shopping, especially for her son. She will be remembered for her sweet smile, her outgoing nature, and her devotion as a mother.

Public services celebrating her life will be conducted at 10 a.m. CDT Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Presbyterian Church in Paris. Private burial will follow in Edgar Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Templeton Funeral Home, 600 E. Court St., in Paris.
