TERRE HAUTE — Mildred D. Wiemuth, 97, of Terre Haute died Wednesday evening, March 20, 2013 in Union Hospital. She was born February 6, 1916 in Crown Point, Indiana to Julius and Lena Nielsen. Her husband, George O. Wiemuth, preceded her in death in 1994.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robert A. and Linda Wiemuth of Terre Haute; seven grandchildren, Liz Walsh and her husband, Mike, of Rochester, MN, Rob Wiemuth of Terre Haute, Jay Wiemuth and his wife, Carol, of Terre Haute, Mike Wiemuth and his wife, Lili, of King of Prussia, PA, Pam Wannamacker and her husband, Will, of Troy, MI, David Miller and his wife, Jill, of San Jose, CA and Eric Miller of Huntsville, AL; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Miller in 1994.

Mildred was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Private services and burial are scheduled to take place at Roselawn Memorial Park with Pastor Jacob Sutton officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. The family kindly requests that memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 645 Poplar Street, Terre Haute, IN 47807 or to Terre Haute Boys and Girls Club, 924 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47807.
