TERRE HAUTE — Mildred Annabelle Hauser, 75, passed away at 7:51 a.m. on Aug. 29, 2012. She was born on July 14, 1937, to Coy Childress and Bertha Mae (Ellen) Childress. Mildred was a four time Hoosier Lottery winner, she enjoyed gardening, and watching and feeding the hummingbirds that would fly to her feeders at her home. She also bred dachshunds.

Mildred is preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law Tim Gray; and brother Roy Childress. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Dean Hauser, whom she married May 12, 1953; children Rick Hauser, wife Sue, Billie Gray of Floyds Knobs, Ind., Mike Hauser, and his wife Kelly; grandchildren, Mary Ann Spilker, Amy Lynn Watson, Eric Gray of New Albany, Ind., Lyndsay Fortner of Floyds Knobs, and Hunter Dean Hauser; great-grandchildren, Trevor Spilker, Adam Watson, and Brody Watson; sister, Mary Lee Franklin; and special sister-in-law, Dodie Childress.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Friday Aug. 31, 2012 at 1 p.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive. Mike Barcus will be officiating. Burial will be at Farmersburg Westlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Online condolences can be made at: www.debaunfuneralhomes.com
