HILLSDALE — Barbara Ann Myers Mack, 83, of Hillsdale, died Saturday, June 2, 2012, in Vermillion County Convalescent Center. She was a lifelong resident of Vermillion County. She was born Oct. 20, 1928, to Eaton Myers and Opal Ford Myers.
Survivors include her children, David (Jean) Mack of Hillsdale. Marianne (Rick) Clark of Oshkosh, Wis., Mick (Jacquie) Mack of Clinton; Scott (Mae) Mack of Paris, Ill., and Fauniel (Dennis) Clawson of Oviedo, Fla.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a niece, Kelly (Don) Weinzerl of Florida; and a nephew, Ron (Diana) Mack of Cayuga.
She was married Dec. 14, 1947, to Leigh S. Mack, who preceded her in death in 2002.
She was a 1946 graduate of St. Bernice High School, a member of Salem United Methodist Church, active in the Vermillion County Choral Club, and Home Ec club for many years. She was retired from Meis Department Stores in Terre Haute.
Services are 12 noon Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Frist Funeral Home, 458 Blackman St., in Clinton, with the Rev. Leon Myers officiating, assisted by the Rev. Bill Felts. Burial will be in Helt’s Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. to noon, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, or Salem United Methodist Church.
