TERRE HAUTE —
Charles Edward Abrams Jr., 60, a native of Indiana and resident of Columbia, Miss., died Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. Abrams and Ardonia Jackson Abrams Sr. Survivors include three daughters, Michelle Berry (Michael) of Ohio, Melissa Roe (Ryan) of Alaska, and Micka Abrams of Columbia; one son, Charles Abrams III of Columbia; grandchildren, Michael and Mikayla Berry, Zaine and Shianne Roe, Charlie Abrams, Abby, Anabel and Aliyah Abrams; a brother, Carl Abrams (Shelley) of Lafayette; a sister, Brenda Kauffman (Phil) of Lafayette; one niece, Chelsea Johnson; one nephew, Michael Abrams; one aunt, Sibbie Jackson, of New Goshen; and several cousins.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 30, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Columbia. The Rev. Derek Mingo officiated at the service. Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2012 at the funeral home.
