TERRE HAUTE —
Mary Jane Pugh, age 92, of Terre Haute, passed away Friday, July 27, 2012, at Royal Oaks Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on Oct. 4, 1919, to Marcus and Elizabeth Dooley, in Terre Haute. She was retired from ISU.
Survivors include her nephews, Floyd and Shirley Black, Robert and Norma Black, Don and Mary Jo Black, Jerry and Susie Black, Daniel Bell, and Richard and Mary Bell; niece, Barb and Stephen Lewis; and several great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo A. Pugh; her parents; one brother; one sister; and four stepbrothers.
She was a past member of Senior Swim Club, and West Terre Haute Senior Citizen Center.
Services are Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at 1 p.m., at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home, 4660 N. Lafayette Ave. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until services Wednesday, with the Rev. Mark Grayless officiating. Burial is in Woodlawn Cemetery.
