HYMERA — Harriett June Mora, 57, of Hymera, passed away at 5:15 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was born July 27, 1955, in Sullivan, to Harry Wayne Carpenter and June Lang Carpenter.

She is survived by a daughter, Theresa Bush; sisters, Patricia “Pat” Ford (Mike) of Loxahatchee, Fla., Janet Banta (Jim) Bradyville, Tenn., Cheryl Carpenter of Hymera, and Michelle Carpenter of Terre Haute; brothers, Mike Carpenter of Jasonville, Paul Carpenter (Mae) of Shelburn, and Darrel Carpenter (Christin) of Lyons; and a granddaughter, Addison Bush. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents; a brother, Robert E. “Bob” Carpenter; and several nieces and nephews.

Harriett was a 1973 graduate of North Central High School, had been a truck driver for several years, and a member of Cross Community Church in Coalmont.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Holmes Memorial Chapel, in Sullivan. Services will be on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Knights of Pythius Cemetery in Hymera.
