Clara E. Lloyd, 62, of Terre Haute, passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, in her residence surrounded by her family. Clara was born Sept. 3, 1950, in Vincennes, to Carl Hixon and Emma Jane (Hitt) Hixon.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Lloyd; daughter, April Dishno and her husband Justin of Terre Haute; granddaughter, Gabrielle Wallace; sisters, Jan Henderson of Savage, Minn., and Gail Loehmann of Terre Haute; and special relatives, Kaylee and Kyler Sanders of Zionsville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Hixon and Emma Jane Frederick. Clara loved spending time with her family and will be dearly missed by all of them.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, from 12 noon until 3 p.m., at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive, with funeral services at 3 p.m., with Pastor George Guinn officiating. Burial will be in Durham Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at:
