TERRE HAUTE — Jacqueline Judy, 90, of Terre Haute, a former resident of Hoopeston, Ill., passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at her daughter’s home in Terre Haute. Born Sept. 13, 1922, in Saint-Quentin, France, she was the daughter of Alfred and Marqurite Delarue, (both deceased). She lived in Saint-Quentin for a short time before moving to Paris, where she attended school and worked.

In 1946 she married Army Sgt. William Guy Judy (deceased) of Potomac, Ill., and came to the United States, where she became a U.S. Citizen. She was a homemaker until 1963 at which time she went to work for TRW in Hoopeston, and later as a nurses aide at Hoopeston Community Hospital.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and David Eades; sister, Ginette Jones of New York; three grandchildren, Tami Eades, Kyle Eades, and Lori Pursch, all of Terre Haute; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral service for Jacqueline will be held Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at 12 noon in Cross Lane Community Church, 2204 Lafayette Ave., in Terre Haute, with Pastor Ryan Pursch officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. EST at Potomac Cemetery in Potomac. Greiner Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
