TERRE HAUTE —
Elwood “Woody” Grindle Jr., 53, of Terre Haute, passed away on Nov. 24, 2012, at 3:38 p.m., at Union Hospital. He was born in Terre Haute, to Elwood Grindle Sr. and Donella Jean Gorby Grindle, on March 26, 1959.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Douglas Grindle.
Woody was a member of Carpenters Local 133, and a member of Terre Haute Church of God. He enjoyed camping, auctions and John Deere lawn tractors.
He is survived by his wife, Sally Lynn Cutliff Grindle; a sister, Billie Neese and husband Tom; daughter, Danielle (Jeff); a son, Curtis Lawrence Grindle; five grandchildren, Sierra Grindle, Kyra Grindle, Jordan Grindle, Myra Grindle and Arianna McKenzie; and several nieces and nephews
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m., at Roselawn Funeral Home,. Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Pastors Larry D. Richmond and Dennis Sanders. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
