Hillsdale —
Pok Ye “Lee” Short, 75, of Hillsdale, passed away on Aug. 2, 2012 at 9:40 p.m. in the Clinton Gardens. She was born on March 29, 1937, in South Korea. She was a former cook at Green Acres and Hilltop restaurants.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Short.
She is survived by two stepsons; David Roy Short and Dawn of Hillsdale, and Audie Short of Lawton, Okla.; a stepdaughter, Barbara Bennett and Terry of Clinton; stepgrandchildren; Scott Short of Evansville, Lacey Short of Indianapolis, Levi Akers of Clinton and Tanner Akers of Clinton; a sister, Kyong Knight of Fayetteville, N.C.; and a special friend, Donnie Norman of Hillsdale.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brown-Mack Funeral Home in Montezuma. Graveside service will be on Monday at the Danville National Cemetery in Danville, Ill., at 11 a.m. Indiana time with the Rev. Jaeyoung Lee officiating.
