  UPDATE 4: Deadly tornado roars through Oklahoma City suburb

  A monstrous tornado at least a half-mile wide roared through the Oklahoma City suburbs Monday, flattening entire neighborhoods and destroying an elementary school with a direct blow as children and teachers huddled against winds up to 200 mph. At least 51 people were killed, and officials said the death toll was expected to rise.

Anna Zablo Jenkins

TERRE HAUTE — Anna Zablo Jenkins, 83, of Sebastian, Fla., passed away Nov. 10, 2012, at Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian. Mrs. Jenkins was born on Feb. 22, 1929, in Terre Haute, Ind.

Before retiring she was a Quality Inspector in the Electronic Industry. Mrs. Jenkins was a member of the Community Baptist Church in Roseland, Fla. She was affiliated with the many organizations listed; Eagles Lodge, Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge, Orioles Lodge, American Legion, Veteran of Foreign Wars, Eastern Star and Order of the Amaranth.

Mrs. Jenkins is survived by; daughter, Gloria Jean Hauser; son, Robert L. McCallum; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by; husband, John Jenkins; father, Mike Zablo; mother, Flora Zablo; brothers, Mike, Nick and Eli Zablo and sister, Flora Zablo Reedy.

 Visitation was Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel in Sebastian. Service was Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 at 4 p.m. at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel, Sebastian. Graveside Services will be conducted on Saturday, Nov. 17th at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute. Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of arrangements.
