TERRE HAUTE — Carter H. Floyd, 51, of Terre Haute, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at 10:20 p.m. in Meadows Manor East Convalescent & Rehabilitation. He was born Oct. 13, 1960, in Peru, Ind., to Clarence D Floyd and Gladys Grigsby Floyd. He was in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves.

He worked in grounds maintenance at Indiana State University and was a member Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.  

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by a brother, Jeff Floyd and his wife Lorie of Terre Haute. He also is survived by one niece, Morgan Floyd.

Services will be held in Peru. Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 N. 13th St., Terre Haute, IN, 47804, has been entrusted with the arrangements. Online condolences can be made at: www.greinerfuneralhome.com
