TERRE HAUTE — Elizabeth (Beth) Ellen Cardwell, 71, of Terre Haute died Wednesday, July 25, 2012 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was born March 22, 1941 in Rushville, IN to Horace W. Pearsey and Marjorie E. Gordon Pearsey. Elizabeth was a registered nurse for I.U. Medical Center and Jackson Nursing Home in Rushville, IN.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn Cardwell; one daughter, Maria Flores; one son, Paul Cardwell; one brother, William Pearsey; and two grandchildren, Sarah Flores and Ainsley Cardwell. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Elizabeth was a member of First Baptist Church and an artist.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 30, 2012 in First Baptist Church, 4701 Poplar Street with Reverend Steve Newman officiating. Private burial will be in East Hill Cemetery in Rushville, IN. Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. Sunday in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 234 S. 8th St., Terre Haute, IN 47807.
