TERRE HAUTE — Georgia G. Foote, 77, of Terre Haute, passed away Monday, July 23, 2012, at 3:10 p.m., in Union Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born Oct. 17, 1934, in Vincennes, to Mason Jenkins and Mary Landreth Jenkins. Georgia was a manager at Wolf's Auto Auction. She loved playing bingo and cards with her friends. She also loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Myron Jenkins; and a grandson, D.J. Johnson.

Georgia is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Samuel B. Foote, whom she married May 23, 1952; four children, Michael Foote and wife Gayla, Mary Ann Grady and husband Rick, Steven Foote and wife Jeannette, and Scott Foote and wife Shelley; grandchildren, Ryan Foote and Christian Foote, both of Terre Haute, Sara Johnson of Tampa, Fla., Cameron Grady and Catie Grady, both of Terre Haute, and Shelby Foote of Brazil; and great-grandchildren, Coltrane Ratza of Tampa, and Alexander Foote of Terre Haute.

Graveside services will be Thursday, July 26, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Highland Lawn Cemetery, in the chapel. A memorial service will be held at the Zorah Shrine Temple, 420 N. Seventh S., on Aug. 11, 2012, at 2 p.m. Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 N. 13th St., was entrusted with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at: www.greinerfuneralhome.com
