TERRE HAUTE — Tre’ Russell Fletcher, 17, of Terre Haute, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2012. He was born on June 1, 1995, to Karen (Fletcher) Johnson. Tre’ attended Terre Haute North Vigo High School. He was entering into his senior year as part of the graduating class of 2013. At Terre Haute North Vigo, he played football, was part of the wrestling team, ran cross country, and pole vaulted on the track team. Tre’ was a lively young man that was full of spirit. His presence often made those around him happy. He enjoyed singing, and he performed in the talent show at Terre Haute North Vigo every year.

He is survived by his mother, Karen Johnson; grandmother, Marjorie Fletcher; grandfather, Grover Fletcher; brothers, Kevin Orlander Jones Jr. and Benjamin Maurice Fletcher; sisters, Jai’Den Lorraine Rayette Fletcher and Nevaeh Denise Johnson; aunts, Viki Fletcher, Gloria Fletcher, and Donna Bottoroff; uncle, Kyle Aadams; special honorary aunts, Gina Cane, Juanita Russell, and Michelle Grady; a host of cousins; and all of his football, wrestling, cross country, and track coaches and teammates.

Visitation will be from 1 until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Terre Haute North Vigo High School. Funeral services have been scheduled at 4 p.m. at Terre Haute North Vigo High School on Wednesday, July 25, 2012. The family has entrusted Callahan-DeBaun Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave., with making arrangements.
