Allen Morrison “Bo” Allee, 87, of Rockville passed away Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012, at Carle Hospital in Urbana, Ill. He was born Jan. 28, 1925, in Bloomingdale the son of Foster Cook Allee and Katherine Morrison Allee. He married Dorothy Bradley who passed away in 1991. In 1992 he married Madonna Dooley.

Allen served as a Sgt. in the U.S. Army Medical Corp. He was a farmer and truck driver for Farm Bureau Co-op. His memberships included Bloomingdale Friends Meeting, Quaker Men’s Association, Lifetime Member of SAR (Sons of the American Revolution) and Teamsters Union. “Bo” made pumpkin butter during the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival; he enjoyed wintering in Arizona and volunteered at the San Diego Padres Spring Training Camp.

Survivors include his wife, Madonna Dooley Allee of Rockville; three sons, Kirk Allee and wife Susan of Wichita, Kan., Neil Allee and wife Tina of Bloomingdale, Bruce Allee and wife Cheryle of Plainfield; one daughter: Nanci Carpenter and husband Larry of Crawfordsville.; one stepdaughter, Rhonda Mitchell and husband Mike of Waveland; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Rebecca Rehbein of Columbus.

Memorial services are 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at Marshall Federated Church, Marshall, Ind. with the Rev. Don Perry officiating. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until the time of service Friday, Sept. 14, at the church. Arrangements were by Barnes and Rice Funeral Home, Rockville. Cremation has been chosen. Memorial Contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674-0001; Bloomingdale Friends Meeting, P.O. Box 186, Bloomingdale, IN 47832; and Marshall Federated Church, P.O. Box 57, Marshall, IN 47859.
