TERRE HAUTE — Brent Ray Stewart, 47, of Terre Haute, died June 4, 2012, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Brent was born June 11, 1964, the son of Raymond and Betty (Truxal) Stewart. Brent was formerly employed by Terre Haute Parks Department.

Brent is survived by his daughters, Brittney A. Stewart and companion Dru Daugherty of Terre Haute, and her brother Jeffery Witner, and Layla Stewart of West Terre Haute; grandchildren, Jayden Custer and Alexis Daugherty; sisters, Patti (Jack) Worley, Brenda (Rick) Bradbury, and Susan Lawrence, all of Terre Haute; nieces and nephews, Zach Worley, Travis Stewart, Megan Wilson, Dillon Wilson, Malarie Hayden, and Alex Lawrence; also his good friend, Bobbie Jo Whitner of Terre Haute.

A celebration of life will be celebrated Monday, June 11, 2012, at 6 p.m. in Dobbs Park, Gerstmeyer Pavilion. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family through any First Financial Bank. Arrangements are under the direction of Simple Cremations and Burials. Please join Brent’s family in sharing memories, photos and videos of his through his tribute wall at:
