WEST UNION, Ill. — Geneva Fay Crumrin, 87, of West Union, died at 9:40 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at Union Hospital, in Terre Haute, Ind. She was born Jan. 10, 1925, in West Union, the daughter of Herschel and Minnie McCollum Cline. She worked as a quality control inspector for TRW in Marshall, for 28 years. Upon retirement, Geneva dedicated herself to caring for several people in the community. She was a member of the Ohio Church.
On Dec. 8, 1945, she married Russell Crumrin, who preceded her in death on Aug. 7, 1984. She also was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Fenton and Garnet Cline; and two sisters, Wilna Craig and Rosemary Witherspoon.
She is survived by a son, Gary Crumrin and daughter-in-law Judy of West Union; her grandchildren, Angie and Paul Thrift of Paris, and Travis and Kelly Crumrin of Robinson; great-grandchildren, Carson, Claire, and Harrison Thrift, Adler and Lauren Crumrin, and Brynn, Baylor, and Ansley Forman.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. CST Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at Prust-Hosch Funeral Home. Burial is in Ohio Cemetery, West Union. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2012. Memorial donations may be made to Ohio Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared at:
