DANA — Audrea E. (Thompson) (Pearison) Lawson, 85, of Dana, passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Clinton Gardens. She was a farmwife and was a long time Dana resident, and graduate of Dana High School. She studied nursing training, worked at Dormeyer, and worked for the Vermillion County Election Board. Audrea was born May 24, 1927, the daughter of Franklin H. and Lola C. (Johnson) Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Howard Thompson; first husband, Paul Pearison; second husband, Grover Russell Lawson; and sons, Ronnie, Dale and infant Pearison.

Audrea is survived by daughters, Terry (Warren) Thompson, and Debbie (Rodney) Myers, all of Montezuma; grandchildren, Ronnie Pearison of Vincennes, Chris (Brandy) Thomas of Hillsdale, Yolanda (Christopher) Eckels of Australia, Melisa (Wayne) Lutes of Montezuma, Amanda (Doug Wood) Myers of Rockville; and 14 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, with the Rev. Keith McIntyre officiating. Please join Audrea’s family in sharing memories, photos and videos of her through her tribute wall at: www.simplecremationsandburials.com
