TERRE HAUTE —
David Ray Forbes, 69 of Terre Haute, passed away at 7:22 a.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born on Aug. 29, 1942, to Emil and Lois Forbes, in Farmersburg. He was previously employed at Hobby Lobby.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and a son, Robert Forbes.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Forbes; a daughter, Chrissy Forbes; and sons, James Forbes and his wife Sarah, and Kevin Forbes. He also has 10 grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 7 p.m. at Mattox-Ryan Funeral Home, 602 S. Seventh St., Terre Haute with visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Bill Herb will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to charity of your choice in David’s name.
