CLINTON — CLINTON — Melissa Aileen Clark, 33, of Clinton, died at 11:39 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2012, in Indiana University Health-Methodist Hospital, in Indianapolis. She was a physical therapist assistant for Vermillion Convalescent Center, in Clinton, and formerly for Union Hospital, in Terre Haute. She was born July 5, 1978, in Terre Haute, to J. T. Jukes and Roxy Blake Jukes.

She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Faron Travis Clark, whom she married April 8, 2000, in Rosedale. She also is survived by her parents of Rockville; one son, Garrett Clark; one daughter, Lauren Clark; two stepsons, Tyler Rohlman and Nicholas Clark; mother-in-law and father-in-law, James L. and Kay Clark of Palestine, Ill.; two brothers, Ryan Jukes of Dana, and John David Jukes of Rockville; three sisters, Elizabeth Sappenfield of Franklin, Sarah Melvin of Hillsdale, and Rachel Loomis of Rosedale; one sister-in-law, Lisa Lynn Clark of Palestine, Ill.; paternal grandmother, Lois Jukes of Rosedale; maternal grandmother, Noami “Babe” Blake of Rosedale; seven nieces and nephews; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was a 1996 graduate of Riverton Parke High School and graduated from Vincennes University. She was of the Roman Catholic faith. She was active with causes for autism and deeply involved with her children.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2012, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in Clinton, with Father Rick Ginther officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today in Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard St., in Rockville. Memorials should friends so desire, may be made to Melissa Jukes Clark fund for her children, at First Financial Bank, PO Box 540, Terre Haute, IN 47808, in her memory.
