TERRE HAUTE — Malcolm W. "Web" Stockwell, 91, of Terre Haute, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012, at 10:20 a.m., in Royal Oaks Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was born Feb. 2, 1921, in Owen County, to Earl Stockwell and Bertha Powell Stockwell. Malcolm was formerly employed by the City of Terre Haute with Housing and Urban Development, and was a Realtor for Pfister and Company.

He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 972, and the American Legion, in Spencer.

Malcolm was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Bryant Peters Stockwell; and a son, Mike Peters.

He is survived by sons, D. Stockwell of Terre Haute, Duane Stockwell and wife Millie of Cincinnati, Jay Peters and wife Sally of Terre Haute, and Marty Peters of Murfreesboro, Ill.; daughters, Janet Miller and Jeri Doty, both of Terre Haute, Mindy Sheff and husband Allen of Cincinnati, and Joy Davis and husband Eddie of Simi Valley, Calif.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Cremation has been chosen with no services. Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 N. 13th St., assisted with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at:
