TERRE HAUTE — Lena Jane Casad-Carrico passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2012, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on Sept. 19, 1951, in Terre Haute, to Thomas B. Brown and Betty “Jane” (Fields) Brown.

Lena is survived by her son, Robert Thomas Casad and his wife Pamela of Rosedale; her daughters, Cheri L. Page and her companion R. Scott Reece of Terre Haute, and Eunice D. Champion and her companion H. Doug Wood of Terre Haute; her brothers, Jerry K. Brown and wife LuAnn of Farmersburg and Charles B. Brown and wife Debra of Terre Haute; her sister, Anita Mae Mercer and her husband Paul of Hindsboro, Ill.; her best friend and companion, George R. Montgomery; nine glorious grandchildren; two great-grandsons; several stepsisters and stepbrothers, and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, William Thomas and Daniel.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton St., with Pastor Matt Larimer officiating. A funeral ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at the funeral home. Private burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Park.
