Rosemary Boston

JASONVILLE — Rosemary Boston, 92, of Tipp City, Ohio, and formerly of Jasonville, passed away at 1:25 p.m. Thursday, May, 10, 2012, in Spring Meade Health Center, Tipp City, with her family by her side. She was born July 24, 1919, in Farmersburg, to Robert “Roy” and Zella (Craig) Anthony. Rosemary married Charles Winston Boston on June 13, 1959, and he passed away on Nov. 11, 1984.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Myrna and Jerry Haseman of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Laura and Melvin Conder of Greenwood, Ind., Brenda and Charles Buck of LaPorte, Ind., and Sue Ann and Maury Hernandez of Tipp City; sons and daughters-in-law, Dale Gillespie, Charles and Lisa Boston, Gerald “Skeeter” and Sheila Boston, all of Jasonville; sisters and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Kenneth Nickerson of Lake Monticello, Va., and Cora Nell Lewis of Terre Haute; 23 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Linda Ann Hughes; sister, Eva “Tiny” Bell; grandchildren, Kenny Buck and Leslie Fox-Montgomery.

Rosemary played the piano in many churches from age 5 and gave lessons to many. She and Winston were Lay Witness Missionaries and enjoyed doing the Lords work. She loved her family and was a wonderful spiritual inspiration to us all. Rosemary knew that there was always Victory in Jesus.

After a long and active life, she went to meet her two heroes, her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the love of her life Winston.

Arrangements are at Cox Funeral Home, 218 S. Meridian St., in Jasonville, with visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2012, and 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2012, with Rosemary’s grandson, Pastor Matthew Conder, officiating. Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.
