Diania J. Musgrave

STAUNTON — STAUNTON — Diania J. Musgrave, 64, of Staunton, passed away May 10, 2012, at St. Vincent Clay Hospital. She was born Nov. 27, 1947, in Clay County, the daughter of Edward Rightsell and Wilma Jean Haas Rightsell. Diania graduated from Staunton High School, class of 1965 and continued on to Harold’s Beauty Academy.

On July 29, 1966, Diania was united in marriage to George A. Musgrave. Together they raised their family in Staunton. They have been longtime members of the Staunton First Christian Church.

Diania has worked as a beautician all her work career. She has had a shop in her home in Staunton since 1999, working until fall of 2011, when she was battling cancer.

Diania found her joy in working in her yard, including her flowers, doing craft projects, feeding the birds and being a supporter of Northview High School Football, Basketball and Golf for her grandchildren. She was devoted to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her devoted husband, George Musgrave of Staunton; two daughters, Kelly Kirchner and husband Andy of Staunton and Shelly Foote and husband Scott of Brazil; grandchildren, Austin Souder, Baylen Souder, Jake Musgrave, and Shelby Foote; stepgrandchildren, Reanda Kirchner and fiancé Jerry Lawhorn, and Lecia Brown and husband Matt; great-grandchildren, Landin Souder, Gage and Macey Brown and Stella Lawhorn; and one brother, Jeffery Rightsell.

Graveside services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Van Cleve Cemetery (Mount Pleasant) with Pastor Doug Parkey officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the cemetery. If friends desire, donations may be made in her memory to the Staunton First Christian Church Building Fund. Envelopes will be available.  Services were entrusted to French Funeral Home.
