TERRE HAUTE — Betty D. Musselman, 81, of Terre Haute, passed away at 5:05 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012, at the Vermillion Convalescent Center in Clinton. She was born in Brazil, to Gayle and Hester Hauck, on Feb. 21, 1931.

She was a member of Y-Me Club (Wabash Valley Breast Cancer Survivors, Inc.), Springcreek Home Economics Club, and Rio Grande Baptist Church. She loved to cook, gardening, and spoiling her family. She was always there for anybody.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gayle and Hester Hauck; her husband, Richard Musselman; and a sister, Beverly Carter.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Debra Gillespie and her husband Steven and Penny Wittenmyer and her husband Jack; sisters, Mary Jackson and Gail Macy; brothers, Paul Hauck and James Hauck; and a grandson, Rich Baker of Rosedale.

Services will be Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton St., with visitation today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Matt Larimer. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park. Online condolences may be made at: roselawnfuneralhome.net
