TERRE HAUTE —

Bobby is survived by two devoted brothers and four sisters-in-law, Richard Lawson Jr. (LaVerne Lawson) of Terre Haute, Marian Eugene Lawson (Willet Lawson) of Tempo Texas, Marie Lawson of Greencastle, and Rosa Lawson of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and a host of nieces, nephews, church family, and friends.
Bobby attended Booker T. Washington, Sarah Scott Junior High School and was a graduate of Gerstmeyer High School in Terre Haute 1961 and went on to attend Indiana State University for two years, However, it was at Gerstmeyer that he lettered as a four-sport athlete (football, baseball, basketball and track). The impact that this gentleman had on both his family, church family and community will be felt for some time to come. We can only pray that others will follow his example.
