Lucy E. Mazura, 63, of West Terre Haute, passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, in her residence. Lucy was born on March 17, 1949, in Terre Haute, to Larry Perkins and Helen Vancil Perkins.
Lucy was a retired LPN having worked for McMillan Day Care and several nursing homes. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, loved to travel, and playing cards with her friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Mazura, who died in 1974; and two sisters, Mary Sholders and Ruth Richards.
She is survived by her son, Donald “Donny” Mazura II and his wife Wendy of Terre Haute, three brothers, Michael Perkins and his wife Frances of Terre Haute, Joe Perkins and his wife Rosemary of Indianapolis, and Bill Perkins and his wife Cindy of Mount Vernon, Ill.; three granddaughters, Madison, Mya and Malea Mazura, all of Terre Haute; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47804. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Kyle Andrews will be officiating.
