LINTON —
Marjorie S. Shepard, 92, of Elkhart, formerly of Linton, died in her sleep at home on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013. She was born Jan. 21, 1921, in Linton, to John H. and Dona (Griffith) Suttle. On June 28, 1942, she married Merrick W. Shepard, in Terre Haute, He died April 2, 1985.
Surviving are three sons, Merrick H. Shepard, Drake W. (Lynn) Shepard, and Tracy J. Shepard; daughter, Stephanie Shepard; and three brothers, Woodrow Suttle, Charles Suttle, and Howard Suttle.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, in Elkhart. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at First Presbyterian Church, in Elkhart. Pastor Walter Davis will officiate. Burial will be at Highland Lawn Cemetery, in Terre Haute.
