Lee Ann (Gibson) Potter, 64, of Terre Haute, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, in Union Hospital, surrounded by her family.
She was born Oct. 25, 1948, in Terre Haute to Carrol Gibson and Jeanne Mahan, who preceded her in death.
Lee Ann graduated from Garfield High School in 1966. She worked at Sony and retired after 24 years of service.
She is survived by a son, Monte Potter; two daughters, Lindsey Lawler and her husband, Ryan, and Ashley Norton and her husband, Michael. She is also survived by a brother, David Cline; four grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, Logan Giles, Ryan Lawler, Kaden Potter and Moriah Potter.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother, who dedicated her life to her family. She was beautiful, inside and out, and will always be remembered for her kind heart. She will truly be missed by many. A special thanks to Karen Fell and Southern Care Hospice.
In honor of Lee Ann’s wishes, cremation has been chosen. A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m., Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 N. 13th St., Terre Haute, with a gathering of friends from 5 p.m. until service time.
