TERRE HAUTE — Nellie Gresham, 52, of Terre Haute, went to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family at 2:45 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2012. She was born on Feb. 1, 1960, to Thomas and Mary Letner Beauchman. She was a member of Cross Tabernacle Church. Nellie was taken care of through her illness by Sharron at Nurse Care, Union Hospital, and Vista Care. The family would like to thank them.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Vaughn; brother-in-law, William Milton; nephew, Larry Vaughn; and foster dad, Jess Honey. She is survived by her son, David Gresham Jr.; foster mom, Linda Carter; sisters, Edna Barnett (Sam) Linda Mason (Sam) Connie Milton, Linda Climents (Robert) Rebecca Darkis, and Beulah Prouse (Larry); brothers, Thomas Beauchman Jr. and Charles Beauchman (Linda); foster sisters, Laura Kraysci and Lisa Shields; foster brother, Spike; 17 nieces; 12 nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; and several great-great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Saturday, May 5, 2012, at 12 noon at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Drive. Pastor Keith Taylor will be officiating. Burial will be at Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. Online condolences can be made at: www.debaunfuneralhomes.com
