Helen “Marie” Rogers, 90, of Terre Haute, passed away at 8:10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012. She was born in Clinton, on June 29, 1922, to Herman Martin and Abigail (Keller) Martin. Helen was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church of Christ. She enjoyed bird watching, knitting, crafts, camping, and spending time with her family. She was a former resident of Westminster Village and a current resident at Davis Gardens Health Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Hadley Rogers Sr.; her parents; one sister; and two brothers. She is survived by her son, George Hadley Rogers Jr., wife Patti; granddaughter, Lauren Ashley Rogers; and many other family members.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, at 1 p.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Drive. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Online condolences can be made at: www.debaunfuneralhomes.com
