  UPDATE 4: Deadly tornado roars through Oklahoma City suburb

  A monstrous tornado at least a half-mile wide roared through the Oklahoma City suburbs Monday, flattening entire neighborhoods and destroying an elementary school with a direct blow as children and teachers huddled against winds up to 200 mph. At least 51 people were killed, and officials said the death toll was expected to rise.

Robert F. Campbell

INDIANAPOLIS — Robert “Bob” F. Campbell, 84, of Indianapolis, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Nov. 10, 2012. He retired in 1992 as a union iron worker and was a member of the union for the past 65 years. He was a member of Seerley Creek Christian Church and a member of the Class of 1948 of Ben Davis High School.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Campbell; children, Cindy Andrews, Vickie (Rob) Murray, Scott and Mike Campbell; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, James Campbell.

Services will be Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at 10 a.m., in Flanner and Buchanan-Decatur, 5463 Kentucky Ave., in Indianapolis, with visitation there Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Maple Hill Cemetery, in Plainfield.
