Ethel Marie Gilbert, 74, of Terre Haute, passed away at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, in her residence with Lorrie and Caitlon by her side. She was born Aug. 25, 1938, in Terre Haute, to Harry and Flossie Collins.
Survivors include her children, Rick Gilbert and his wife Lorrie, Peggy Orman and her husband Joe, Carol Griffith and her companion Duane, Walter Gilbert and his wife Sara, and Nancy Collins and her husband Larry; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Billy Joe Gilbert; and a grandson, Billie Joe Gilbert Jr.
Ethel’s funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. Third St., in West Terre Haute. Burial will be in Bethesda Memorial Park. Visitation will be 12 noon until service time Sunday.
