Ava Marie Claire Lawson, infant daughter of Cliff and Cayla Yockey Lawson, passed away at 3:30 p.m., on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, in St. Vincent's Hospice in Indianapolis. She was born Nov. 20, 2012, in Indianapolis.
She is survived by her parents, Cliff and Cayla Lawson; her grandparents, Kent Lawson and Nancy Powers, Molly and Gary McKenzie, and William and Beth Yockey. Also surviving are her great-grandparents, Brad and Rita Lawson, Ernestine Owens, Grover and Rita Young, Jack and Eleonora McKenzie, and Donna Phillips. Other survivors include aunts and uncles: Clint Lawson, Cassie Powers, ChCarra Jones and Barry Jones, Bruce McKenzie, Heath Yockey, and Taylor McCarty; and cousins, Alexus Lawson, Elias Jones, Aubrie McKenzie and Courtney Powers.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at New Harmony Cemetery, with the Rev. Fred Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in New Harmony Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of DeBaun Springhill Chapel.
