TERRE HAUTE —
Jerry R. Pharr, 71, of Terre Haute, and formerly of Montezuma, passed away on July 6, 2012, at 8:55 a.m., in his residence. He was born Aug. 22, 1940, in Owensboro, Ky., to Ray James Pharr and Marjorie Isibell Pharr. He was in the U.S. Army and was an oil salesman.
He is preceded in death by his father; and his wife, Victoria Myers Pharr.
He is survived by his mother, Marjorie Clements of Clinton; his children, Bret Pharr of Rockville, Joe Faulk of Ripley, Tenn., Doug Pharr of Terre Haute, Troy Pharr of Mecca, Kim Faulk of Brazil, Kelly Johnson of La Porte, Traci Pharr of Portage, and Nikki Pollard of Kentucky; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Terry Awald of Clinton; an aunt, Patty Vertrees; and a cousin, Ruth Ann Modlin.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until services at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Brown-Mack Funeral Home, in Montezuma. The Rev. Donna Hardesty will be officiating. Burial is in Oakland Cemetery.
