Louanna Mae Brown

TERRE HAUTE — Louanna Mae Brown, 80, of Terre Haute, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2012, in her residence. She was born Dec. 8, 1931, in Terre Haute, to Jesse Lawrence and Margaret Earls. Louanna was a homemaker, raising her two children and taking care of her beloved husband Bud, who preceded her in death in 2010.

Louanna loved her family and was always concerned for their well-being. The hardest part of her passing was leaving her family behind. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, swimming, and playing cards. She was a member of the Kings Harvest Four Square Gospel Church.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Bud Brown; and one brother, Raymond Earls. She is survived by two children, Richard Brown and his wife Barbara of Rosedale and Judy Rexroat and her companion Mike Brown of Terre Haute; one brother, Lawrence Earls and his wife Delores of Terre Haute; one sister, Roberta Sebastain and her husband J.T. of Seelyville; two grandchildren, Laurie Moore and her husband Aaron, and Eric Turner and his wife Gina; seven grandchildren, Sean ward, Joshua Hooper, Shane Turner, Erica Turner, Billy Turner, Jesse Turner, and Brian Turner; two great-grandchildren, Wyatt Ward, and Landon Snow; three very good friends, Judy Rudisel, and Don and Theresa McCoskey; and many nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

Funeral service for Louanna will be Thursday, July 5, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home 2005 North 13th St., with Pastor Butch Leek officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 11 until service time on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wabash Valley Hospice.  Online condolences may be made at: www.greinerfuneralhome.com
