Linton —
Sandra Sue Goddard, age 70, of Linton, went to be with the Lord Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012. She was born Dec. 30, 1941, in Linton, the daughter of George E. and Beulah (Risher) Wautelet.
She owned and operated Linton Business Machines with her husband, Dale, for 17 years and retired from Peoples Trust Company in Linton. She was a member of the Linton First Baptist Church and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, Dale L. Goddard of Linton, to whom she was married Feb. 20, 1966; two sons, Dale C. Goddard of Bloomington and Casey L. Goddard of Muncie; her stepmother, Delores Wautelet of Linton; a brother, David Wautelet of Gilbert, Arizona, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jason Goddard; a sister, Nancy Wautelet, and a brother, Robert Risher.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton, with the Rev. David Tyra officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at:
