TERRE HAUTE — Jane H. Johnson, 80, of Noblesville, Ind., formerly of Paris, Ill., passed away at 9:40 a.m. Thursday, June 7, 2012, in Riverwalk Commons in Noblesville.

She was a member of St. Georges Episcopal Church in West Terre Haute, Millersville Chapter 300 Order of the Eastern Star, and the Red Hat Society. Jane did reading for the blind. She was an administrative assistant in the medical field working in several different offices.

Jane was born Jan. 26, 1932, in Terre Haute, the daughter of the late Paul Revere and Joyce Gallagher Hipple. She married Donald A. Johnson Nov. 6, 1954, and he preceded her in death May 2, 2012.

Jane in survived by her children Alison Tierney and her husband Joseph of Fishers, David Johnson and his wife Dianna of Dallas, Ga.; her grandchildren, Matthew Johnson and his wife Kitrina of Riley, Christopher Johnson of Riley, Bryn Tierney of Fishers, and Jameson Tierney of Fishers; and her great-grandchildren, Adriana and Zachary Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Amy L. Roberts in 2003 and her brother, Paul Edward Hipple.

Funeral services for Mrs. Johnson will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2012, in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home, Paris, Ill. with the Rev. Barbara Kempf officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from noon to service time. Burial will be in Edgar Cemetery, Paris, Ill.
