TERRE HAUTE — Emma C. Weust, 102, of Terre Haute, died Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in her residence. She was born October 15, 1910 in Terre Haute to John G. Weust and Theresa Reifenberg Weust. She was a caregiver of many and was loved by all.

Survivors include a niece, Marian Carney and her husband Bernard; and a nephew, Harold Weust and his wife, Shelia both of Terre Haute;

Emma was from a family of twelve children and was the last to survive. She lived in Streeter, Illinois for a number of years as well as Pompano Beach, Florida before returning to Terre Haute. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Emma’s family wants to extend thanks and appreciation to the entire staff at Sycamore Manor and Hospice VNA for the love and care given to her.

Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2012 at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Rick Ginther officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday in the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice VNA, 400 8th Avenue, Terre Haute, IN 47804.
