---- — Rosemary Chrisman, 91, of St .Mary-of-the-Woods, passed away at 3:10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Royal Oaks Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Terre Haute. She was born June 22, 1921, in St. Mary-of-the-Woods, to Clarence “Dutch” Chrisman and Jennie Corzetto Chrisman.

She retired from Angell Manufacturing in Dayton, Ohio, after many years of service. She also had been employed with Simplicity Pattern in Terre Haute.

Survivors include two nieces, Roseann Richey and her husband Jesse of West Terre Haute, and Rebecca Blue of Menifee, Calif.; two nephews, Bob Callahan and his wife Ginny of Savannah, Ga., and Richard Deffenbaugh and his wife Geody of San Juan Capistrana, Calif.; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Richard Chrisman and his wife Dorothy; and a sister, Georgeanna Callahan and her husband Paul “Pepper” Callahan.

She was a graduate of Concannon High School class of 1939, a life member of the Moose Lodge and she loved dancing and going shopping.

 A memorial service for Rosemary will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. Third St., in West Terre Haute, with Sister Joan Slobig officiating followed with a procession to the cemetery for burial of her ashes in Bethesda Memorial Park. Visitation will be 12 noon until service time Saturday.
