TERRE HAUTE —
Marion Keith Feuquay, 69, of Rosedale, died at 1:36 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He was a farmer. He was born Feb. 12, 1943, in Clinton, to the late John Russell Feuquay and Madge Annette Hartman Feuquay.
Survivors include his wife, Sheri Archer Feuquay; one son, Kevin Lee (Teena) Feuquay of Shepardsville; one daughter, Krista Anne Feuquay of Clinton; one stepdaughter, Carolyn Kalber of Terre Haute; one sister, Carolyn (Bob) Pollard of Rockville; eight grandchildren, Frederick Walton, Jaylen Walton, Brooke Stateler, Shelby Feuquay, Bryce Stateler, Kale “Popeye” Feuquay, Josselyn Calber, and Aliza Calber; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Feuquay of San Antonio.
He was a 1961 graduate of Rosedale High School, where he participated in baseball and basketball. He served in the U.S. Army. He was Past Commander of the American Legion Tony Kashon Post 290 of Rosedale. He was a former member of Rosedale Masonic Lodge 259. He also was the caretaker of Adams Cemetery in Rosedale. He enjoyed his weekly card games with his lifelong friends. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home, 287 N. Main St., in Rosedale, with the Rev. Perry Mager officiating. Burial with military graveside honors by American Legion Tony Kashon Post 290 will follow in Rosedale Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Rosedale American Legion following services and all are invited to attend. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, in the funeral home.
