Norma Jean Galbraith, 86, of Brazil, passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Cloverleaf Nursing Center, in Knightsville. She was born in Cloverland, on Sept. 3, 1926, to Jess and Flora Redifer. After graduating Staunton High School, Norma worked at Quaker Maid until marriage in 1947. She enjoyed being a loving wife of 65 years, a homemaker, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Norma was preceded in death by her brother, Jess Redifer Jr.; and sisters, Beulah Jones and Jeanine Redifer.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert Galbraith; son, Ron (Floy) Galbraith of Brazil; daughter, Moyne (Glenn) Riggs of McKenzie, Tenn.; sister, Marjorie (Don) Randolph of Brazil; grandchildren, Amy Brown, Julie Alford, Amber France, Clint Galbraith, and Dane Galbraith; great-grandchildren, Millie, Lucy, and Hayden France, Ryan and Luke Brown, Grace Alford, Max and Leah Galbraith, and Grey and Adelaide Galbraith.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, at the Moore Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Clearview Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cloverland Church. Online condolences can be expressed at:
