Elizabeth Kay Michki, 78, formerly of Terre Haute, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013. She was born on June 1, 1934, to Roy Turner and Marguerite (Groves) Turner. Elizabeth was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. She was a devoted wife, mother of three, and grandmother of five.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 51 1/2 years, Robert Michki; son, Kevin L. Michki and his wife Renee; daughter, Paula K. Hastings and her husband Jeff; grandchildren, Nigel Michki, Elliott Michki, Heather Michki, Ryan Michki, and Nolan Hastings; and sister, Mary Everly. She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen R. Michki; and sister, Dolores Rice.
Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family has entrusted Callahan-DeBaun Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave., with making arrangements. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
