Johnny Jim Kutchan, 60, of Terre Haute, passed away at home on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013. John was born May 31, 1952, in Terre Haute, the son of Charles and Sarah Kutchan. He was a graduate of Gerstmeyer High School and worked for many years as a fabricator and welder. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
John was preceded in death by both parents.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia May-Kutchan; two daughters, Kim Marie Kutchan-Halwes and her children, Michael, Madilyn and Marie Elyse Halwes; Jessica Ann Hensley and husband Ryan Hensley, and their children, Kirstie and Kiedis Hensley, and Mairen Berg Wilkinson; his sister, Wanda Kutchan-Rueckert; and several nieces and nephews.
According to his wishes, John will be cremated, with a celebration of life to be held at Hungarian Hall, 2049 N. 22nd St., on Friday, Jan 25, 2013, from 12 noon to 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
