TERRE HAUTE — Randall H. Adams, 56, of West Terre Haute, passed away at 6:28 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at Union Hospital. He was a truck driver for many years and had been employed with C.A.T. Trucking, Lynn Trucking, and Speedway International. He was born Jan. 30, 1956, in Danville, Ill., to Charles Arvel Adams and Thelma June Shute Adams.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Jacqueline L. Daugherty Adams, whom he married June 9, 1979, at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, in West Terre Haute; a daughter, Jamie Adams-Kemper and husband Jerry of Evansville; a son, Christopher R. Adams of West Terre Haute; a sister, Barbara Tharp of Atlanta, Ga.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Judy Daugherty of Terre Haute; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Randy was a car enthusiast and had been a long time member of the Buick Gran Sport Indiana Chapter. He also enjoyed driving his Jeep.

Funeral services for Randy will be 11 a.m. Friday, in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, with the Revs. Colleen Harden and Mike Baker officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Indiana or the Will Center, with envelopes available in the funeral home.
