MARSHALL, Ill. —
Harley E. McKittrick, age 76. of Marshall, passed away at 3:15 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, in his home. He was born July 14, 1936, in Shelbyville, Ill., to James A. McKittrick and Mabel (Schrock) McKittrick. He married Donna Baughn on Oct. 4, 1980, in Spencer, Ind. He was a retired purchasing agent of wholesale foods.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Peggy (Jochen) Riehm of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., Judy (Craig) Wright of Newtown, Pa., and Kathy (Jeff) Orendorf of Orlando, Fla.; one grandson, James Thomas Frank of New Symrna Beach; three brothers, James (Marilyn) McKittrick of Marshall, Sidney (Susie) McKittrick of Humbolt, and Roy (Hilda) of Spartanburg, S.C.; and one sister, Linda Spencer (fiancé Mike McCleery) of Fort Collins, Colo. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was a member of the Scottish Rite in Danville, Ill., Order of the Eastern Star and Masonic Lodge, both in Stanford, Ind., Murat Shrine Club in Indianapolis, Stone Belt Shrine Club in Bloomington, Ind. (where he was a past president), and the American Legion in Bloomington, Ind.
Memorial services will be at a later date in Bloomington, Ind. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shrine Children’s Hospital. Online condolences may be expressed at:
